About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for outpatient clinic locations across the Littleton and Highlands Ranch, Colorado area, supporting primary care, internal medicine, urology, and OB/GYN practices.
### What you'll do
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, document visit reasons, patient history, and allergies following nursing protocols
- Assist physicians with examinations and procedures and maintain open communication for coordinated care
- Administer medications independently and maintain clinical competency through evaluations
- Audit ordered tests to ensure timely receipt and follow-up of results
- Manage nursing supplies, equipment functionality, and maintenance, escalating needs to leadership
- Serve as the point of contact for daily clinic operations, delegating tasks to office staff and supporting front-line teams
### What we're looking for
- 2+ years of related medical assistant experience, or completion of the AHMG Medical Assistant training/apprenticeship program
- Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA through an approved certifying organization
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in vital signs, specimen collection, and body substance isolation
- Strong organizational and phone communication skills (preferred)
