Certified Medical Assistant Practice Based

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant at its Saxon Medical Park clinic in Deltona, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results in the practice's designated system - Administer medications and provide patient education on tests, medications, and diet - Support care gap closure and chronic disease management during office visits - Maintain OSHA compliance, safety policies, and confidentiality of patient and employee information - Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies and functioning medical equipment ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology, chronic disease management concepts, and computer systems - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Up to $2,500 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states, with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
