Certified Medical Assistant

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant at its Care Pavilion clinic in Ocala, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Administer medications, collect labs, and initiate diagnostic testing as ordered - Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet instructions - Monitor supply inventory and maintain functioning medical equipment - Travel to support staffing needs across clinic locations as required ### What we're looking for - Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating outpatient clinics and hospitals across multiple states.
