Nursing Assistant CNA Part Time Nights Float Pool

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Shawnee Mission, Kansas is hiring a part-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the night shift Float Pool. ### What you'll do - Assist in delivering patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse across float pool assignments - Accurately measure and document vital signs in the electronic medical record - Perform patient care duties and procedures in accordance with department policy - Respond appropriately within scope during clinical emergencies - Follow CDC isolation guidelines, apply correct PPE, and enforce hand hygiene and safety protocols - Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in practice changes driven by performance data ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - CNA certification (preferred) - Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) or EMT certification (preferred) - 1+ year of PCT or applicable patient care experience (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $16.26–$26.02/hr (~$33,821–$54,122 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is a full-service acute care hospital located in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
