About this role

AdventHealth seeks a Manager of Clinical Documentation Integrity to lead CDI teams across regional acute care facilities from its Maitland, Florida corporate office. ### What you'll do - Oversee clinical documentation specialists reviewing complex inpatient records for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate capture of diagnoses. - Audit documentation quality to support accurate statistics and reimbursement across all regional acute care facilities. - Chair facility-based improvement meetings and deliver physician education presentations. - Develop and monitor departmental goals, site work plans, and performance improvement processes. - Collaborate with physician, coding, and quality teams to ensure underlying conditions are documented and supported by the medical record. - Generate and analyze data reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. ### What we're looking for - Active RN, APRN, PA, or ECFMG licensure/credential (required). - Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) credential (required). - Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or related field (required); Master's preferred. - 5+ years of acute care nursing experience in medical/surgical, ICU, post-acute, or emergency settings. - 1+ year of recent clinical documentation experience; 2+ years of leadership experience preferred. - Proficiency in ICD-10 coding compliance, reimbursement systems, and federal/state payer regulations. ### What's included - Salary range: $83,699–$155,694 per year. - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Paid time off from Day One. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals and care sites across multiple states, with a significant footprint in Central Florida. The team operates Monday–Friday day shift from the Trickel Building in Maitland, FL.
