About this role

A Certified Medical Assistant Float supports clinical operations across outpatient clinic locations for AdventHealth at the Redbird Clinic in Beverly, Kentucky. ### What you'll do - Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information accurately in patient charts - Assist providers with treatments and prepare examination rooms for patient visits - Transcribe orders for laboratory tests, radiology, and medications; provide patient education on risks and benefits - Document provider-patient encounters including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions - Perform basic clerical duties including answering phones, maintaining records, filing, and ordering supplies - Ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures across all float assignments ### What we're looking for - Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required) - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Customer service experience in a medical office setting (preferred) ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $16.23–$25.97 (~$33,758–$54,018 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating outpatient clinics and hospitals across multiple states.
