Certified Patient Care Technician Night

A Certified Patient Care Technician (Night Shift) role at AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, Florida, supporting inpatient nursing teams under registered nurse direction. ### What you'll do - Perform patient care treatments per policy, tailored to patient age, mobility, acuity, and cultural needs - Assist in clinical emergencies and maintain safety and isolation protocols, including proper PPE use and hand hygiene - Document and report all procedures and patient care activities in accordance with department policy - Assist with obtaining nursing histories and report abnormalities to the supervising registered nurse - Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff across the unit - Participate in performance improvement activities and support quality standards and initiatives ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Active BLS/CPR certification (required) - One of the following certifications (required): CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT - 1+ year of PCT experience (preferred) - Prior bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical setting (preferred) - Strong communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members ### What's included - Pay range: $15.87–$25.38/hour (~$33,011–$52,790 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals and care sites across the United States.
