About this role
AdventHealth Castle Rock seeks a full-time Night RN to provide direct inpatient nursing care at its acute care hospital in Castle Rock, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural dimensions and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and documenting outcomes accurately in the medical record.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure effective interdisciplinary communication.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions as required.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members while maintaining quality and efficiency of care.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- EKG competency per unit-specific requirements.
- Proficiency in English (verbal, written) and basic computer navigation skills.
