Certified Medical Assistant

A Certified Medical Assistant role at AdventHealth supporting clinic operations at the Care Pavilion location in Ocala, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures, document results, and close care gaps at the time of service - Administer medications, collect labs, and initiate diagnostic testing as directed - Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet with clear, accurate instructions - Maintain OSHA compliance, safety processes, and organizational policy standards - Monitor and manage supply inventory and ensure medical equipment is functioning ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology, chronic disease concepts, and EHR/computer systems - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hour ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
