AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for a practice-based clinic in Wesley Chapel, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at time of service - Administer medications, initiate testing, and document results in the designated EHR system - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Monitor inventory and maintain functioning medical equipment and supplies - Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to organizational safety policies and procedures ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of medical assistant or related clinical experience (preferred) - Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems - Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and function independently within certification scope ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr (~$35,589–$56,950 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating outpatient clinics and hospitals across multiple states.
