A Certified Medical Assistant role at AdventHealth's AHMG Family Medicine clinic in Kissimmee, Florida, supporting ambulatory primary care operations on a full-time day shift.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, medication reconciliation, and care-gap closure during patient visits.
- Assist with minor procedures, initiate ordered tests, and document results accurately in the EHR at the time of service.
- Administer medications and educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions.
- Maintain OSHA compliance, safety policies, and organizational standards across clinic operations.
- Monitor and manage medical supply inventory and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Travel as needed to support staffing and operations at other clinic locations.
### What we're looking for
- Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management.
- 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems.
