About this role

A Clinical Trainer Medical Assistant role with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Training and Development, based in Maitland, Florida, traveling 100% across Central Florida ambulatory practices. ### What you'll do - Train and mentor new medical assistant employees and those requiring remedial education across Central Florida clinic sites - Serve as an EMR Superuser, supporting staff adoption and proficiency in electronic medical records - Provide documented feedback to supervisors to inform employee performance evaluations - Ensure clinic compliance with OSHA regulations, safety processes, and PCMH standards - Demonstrate and maintain clinical competencies, including chronic disease management protocols and quality metrics ### What we're looking for - Active certification as a CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, or CPhT - Current BLS/CPR certification - Minimum 1 year of practical medical assisting experience (or graduation from an accredited medical assisting program) - EMR Superuser experience required - Familiarity with PCMH standards, quality metrics, and chronic disease management - High school diploma or equivalent ### What's included - Pay range: $19.23–$30.77/hour ($40,000–$64,002 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is the employed physician and advanced practice group of AdventHealth, one of the largest faith-based health systems in the United States. This role travels across the AHMG clinic network to deliver hands-on clinical education at the point of care.
