About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Med-Surg Telemetry unit in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Interpret EKG findings and apply advanced life support skills as required by unit standards. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills to manage a dynamic telemetry patient population. - Proficiency in EKG interpretation and electronic health record navigation. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Whole-person well-being and mental health support resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of a growing, comprehensive care network in Orlando, Florida, offering emergency services, urgent care, primary care, specialty medicine, imaging, orthopedics, and rehabilitation.
