About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Med/Surg unit at 7700 S Broadway, Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and established standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and the broader care team to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to function as a team member.
- EKG competency per unit requirements; additional specialty certifications (TNCC, CCRN-E, ONS, SCRN, etc.) are a plus.
