About this role

AdventHealth Parker is hiring a full-time Cook at its hospital campus in Parker, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following culinary production records, including short-order and batch cooking to meet quality and temperature standards. - Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients for upcoming service periods and high-volume production. - Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring equipment and surfaces meet health standards and recording temperatures per regulatory requirements. - Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to support food safety and minimize waste. - Collaborate with managers and team members to communicate needs and support efficient food service delivery. ### What we're looking for - 1+ year of foodservice experience in a high-volume culinary production setting (preferred). - Knowledge of cooking methods, recipe execution, and sanitary work procedures. - Familiarity with therapeutic diet preparation (preferred). - Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure. - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred); hospital or nursing home foodservice background is a plus. ### What's included - Pay range: $19.58–$31.32/hour ($40,726–$65,146 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Parker is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission rooted in whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
