Pediatric Cardio Sonographer AHMG Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology

AdventHealth Medical Group Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology is hiring a full-time Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer at its outpatient clinic in Orlando, FL. ### What you'll do - Perform echocardiograms using 2D imaging, color flow Doppler, and M-mode in accordance with accredited laboratory protocol. - Acquire and document patient clinical history including weight, height, blood pressure, and O2 saturation prior to each study. - Assess sonographic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and complete anatomical demonstration. - Explain procedures to pediatric patients and families to ensure cooperation and optimal study results. - Maintain ultrasound equipment readiness, identify malfunctions, and take corrective action as needed. - Float to satellite practices in Lake Mary, Daytona, Melbourne, Winter Garden, Celebration, and Tavares as required. ### What we're looking for - Active RDCS-AE, RDCS-PE, RCS, or RCCS credential (one required at minimum). - Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited diagnostic medical sonography program; Associate's degree required. - Current BLS/CPR certification. - 2+ years of experience in pediatric echocardiography (preferred). - Ability to perform complex pediatric sonographic studies including fetal echocardiography (preferred). - Strong communication skills and composure in high-pressure or emergency situations. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.55–$58.69/hour (~$65,624–$122,075 annualized). - $5,000 sign-on bonus. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one plus 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AHMG Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology operates out of a dedicated outpatient suite in Orlando and serves patients across Central Florida through multiple regional locations.
