Certified Medical Assistant Family Medicine Asheville

A Certified Medical Assistant supports a family medicine clinic operated by AdventHealth at 333 Gashes Creek Rd in Asheville, North Carolina. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including history taking, vital signs, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications and collect labs; communicate test results and close care gaps during patient visits - Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and employee administrative and medical information - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (any nationally recognized medical assistant credential) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology, chronic disease management concepts, and electronic health records - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced outpatient environment ### What's included - Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hour (~$34,154–$54,642 annually) - Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 - Relocation assistance up to $5,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Parkway Medical Group operates a family medicine clinic on Gashes Creek Road serving the Asheville, NC community with whole-person, faith-inspired care.
