A Certified Medical Assistant (Primary Care+) role at AdventHealth serving patients at the New Smyrna Beach, Florida primary care clinic.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation
- Administer medications, collect labs, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results in the EMR
- Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate point-of-service documentation
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear, accurate guidance
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment to support uninterrupted clinic operations
- Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations
### What we're looking for
- Active certification: CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of related medical assisting experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts
- Ability to work a rotating schedule covering weekdays 8am–8pm and weekends 8am–5pm

- Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr (~$35,589–$56,950 annualized)
