About this role

A Certified Medical Assistant (Primary Care+) role at AdventHealth serving patients at the New Smyrna Beach, Florida primary care clinic. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications, collect labs, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results in the EMR - Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate point-of-service documentation - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear, accurate guidance - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment to support uninterrupted clinic operations - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active certification: CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assisting experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Ability to work a rotating schedule covering weekdays 8am–8pm and weekends 8am–5pm ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr (~$35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus (where applicable) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
