Certified Medical Assistant Primary Care

A Certified Medical Assistant joins AdventHealth's primary care clinic in Land O Lakes, Florida, supporting daily clinical operations and direct patient care under physician supervision. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results in the EHR at the time of service - Administer medications, collect labs, and provide patient education on tests, medications, and diet - Maintain OSHA compliance, office safety processes, and regulatory standards - Monitor and manage medical supply inventory and equipment functionality - Travel as needed to support staffing across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Strong communication skills and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hour ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Sign-on bonus: up to $3,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine in Land O Lakes operates as part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, nonprofit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care.
