Certified Medical Assistant Primary Care+

AdventHealth Primary Care+ in Lake Mary, Florida is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support ambulatory primary care operations on a rotating weekday and weekend schedule. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate point-of-service documentation in the EHR - Administer medications, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment - Travel to other clinic locations as needed to support staffing requirements ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - 1+ year of medical assistant or related clinical experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Ability to work full availability weekdays 8am–8pm and weekends 8am–5pm on a rotating two-week schedule ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus (where applicable) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Primary Care+ at Lake Mary operates as an extended-hours primary care clinic designed to provide comprehensive, same-day and scheduled care seven days a week.
