About this role
AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is hiring a part-time Float Pool Registered Nurse for night shifts at its facility in Lenexa, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Float across ED, ICU, PCU, and MSU units as assigned, adapting to each department's patient population and workflows.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and hospital standards.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure effective interdisciplinary communication.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred).
- EKG competency per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and verbal communication skills; specialty certifications (TNCC, CCRN, CCNS, etc.) are a plus.

- Pay range: $32.50–$60.45/hr ($67,600–$125,736 annualized) plus a $5.00/hr Float Pool differential.
