A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at AdventHealth Hendersonville supports patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit in Hendersonville, North Carolina, on a part-time day shift.
### What you'll do
- Perform treatments per policy and procedure, delivering age- and acuity-appropriate care to Med-Surg patients.
- Respond appropriately to clinical emergencies as they arise on the unit.
- Follow isolation protocols, use personal protective equipment correctly, and enforce safety regulations.
- Perform hand hygiene according to policy and maintain infection-control standards.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and support quality initiatives.
### What we're looking for
- Active CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT certification (one required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of PCT or patient care technician experience preferred.
- Prior bedside care in an acute care setting, or experience as a unit secretary or monitor technician, is a plus.
