Bilingual Referral Specialist

AdventHealth is hiring a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Referral Specialist at its AH Well 65+ outpatient clinic in Altamonte Springs, Florida. ### What you'll do - Coordinate referrals for cases requiring multi-specialty physicians, surgeons, or physician assistants - Schedule and manage patient appointments, maintain and update physician schedules, and triage patient phone calls - Review patient charts prior to appointments to confirm all test results and correspondence are on file - Obtain and track insurance authorizations for procedures and treatments - Explain procedures, treatments, and care plans to patients and family members in English and Spanish - Maintain a tickler file for diagnostic testing results and perform weekly reviews ### What we're looking for - Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech in a clinical administrative context - Proficiency with computers, copiers, fax, and scanners - 1+ year of experience in a medical setting (preferred) - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $15.87–$25.38/hour (~$33,010–$52,790 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states, with a strong presence in Central Florida. The Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule supports a consistent and structured work environment.
