About this role
A Telephonic Certified Medical Assistant supports the AHMG GME Clinical Contact Center at AdventHealth's Courtland Campus in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation via telephonic and in-person workflows
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and document results in the designated practice system
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear and accurate communication
- Administer medications, assist with minor procedures, and ensure care-gap closure at each encounter
- Monitor and manage medical supply inventory and verify equipment is functioning
- Maintain OSHA compliance, patient confidentiality, and all applicable safety policies
### What we're looking for
- Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology, chronic disease management, and patient advocacy
- Proficiency with electronic health record or clinical documentation systems

AdventHealth's AHMG GME Clinical Contact Center operates Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. at 602 Courtland St., Orlando, FL 32804, supporting graduate medical education and ambulatory patient populations.
