Certified Medical Assistant Primary Care

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for its primary care clinic at 3701 Avalon Park W Blvd in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results in the practice's EHR - Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate point-of-care documentation - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Monitor and manage medical supply inventory and ensure equipment is functioning - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of medical assistant experience (preferred) - Working knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources - Mental health and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth operates one of the largest faith-based health systems in the country, with a primary care presence across Central Florida.
