About this role

A Certified Patient Care Technician / Unit Coordinator role on the night shift at AdventHealth Sebring in Sebring, Florida. ### What you'll do - Prepare rooms for new admissions, set up personal care items and vital sign equipment, and orient patients to their environment. - Assist patients with activities of daily living, respond to call lights, and maintain a clean, safe patient environment. - Transfer patients between beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs using proper lifting and transport techniques. - Collect and label patient specimens at bedside and route them to the laboratory for analysis. - Document personal care, intake and output, vital signs, weights, and unit census accurately in the electronic medical record. - Serve as a liaison between patients, families, nursing staff, and medical personnel, reporting changes in patient status promptly. ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Active BLS/CPR certification required. - One of the following required: CPCT/A, CNA, or EMT certification. - At least 1 year of patient care experience preferred; CNA experience a plus. - Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer applications. - Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $15.58–$24.92/hr ($32,406–$51,834 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One plus 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Sebring is a faith-based, community hospital serving Highlands County and surrounding areas in central Florida.
