About this role
AdventHealth Gordon is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for its Primary Care clinic in Calhoun, Georgia.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation.
- Administer medications, initiate testing, and document results in the practice management system.
- Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service.
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions.
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment.
- Support clinic operations, including traveling to other sites as needed to meet staffing needs.
### What we're looking for
- Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts.
- Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced environment.
