AdventHealth Carrollwood is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Medical-Surgical with Telemetry unit in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and established standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Interpret EKG data and respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to advance patient care quality and unit efficiency.
- Collaborate as an active team member within the unit, applying strong communication and problem-solving skills.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred; new graduates considered.
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and abstract clinical reasoning abilities.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr (approx. $65,582–$108,659 annually).
