AdventHealth Carrollwood is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Med-Surg with Telemetry unit in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Respond promptly and effectively to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care quality and unit efficiency.
- Interpret EKG findings as required by patient acuity and unit protocols.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required).
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred; new graduates considered).
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills for a fast-paced telemetry environment.
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation and basic computer navigation of Windows-based programs.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized).
