About this role
A Certified Medical Assistant supports an ENT specialty clinic at AdventHealth in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including history taking, vital signs, screenings, and medication reconciliation
- Administer medications and coordinate lab work, test results, and closure of care gaps
- Assist providers with minor ENT-related procedures and ensure accurate same-day documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee administrative and medical information
- Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations
### What we're looking for
- Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management
- Ability to perform independently within certification scope in a fast-paced environment
### What's included
- Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hr (~$34,154–$54,642 annualized)
