An Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist role is open at AdventHealth in Tavares, Florida, providing direct patient care within an ambulatory therapy clinic.
### What you'll do
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in an outpatient setting on a Mon–Thurs 9am–6pm, Fri 8am–5pm schedule.
- Oversee care delivered by therapy aides in accordance with applicable regulations and professional practice standards.
- Maintain departmental productivity standards through effective time management and clinical efficiency.
- Adjust caseload and working hours as needed to meet fluctuating patient census across programs.
- Apply evidence-based practices and serve as a clinical instructor to support staff development and performance improvement.
- Represent the practice through community events, educational lectures, and public health outreach.
### What we're looking for
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- Active Florida SLP license, SLP-PROV, or SLP-TEMP credential (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- New graduates are eligible; no prior work experience required.
