Certified Medical Assistant

A Certified Medical Assistant role at AdventHealth, supporting clinic operations at the Orlando, Florida outpatient location on N Alafaya Trail. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures, document results at time of service, and initiate diagnostic testing - Administer medications and educate patients on tests, medications, and diet - Manage inventory and ensure medical equipment is functioning and supplies are stocked - Maintain OSHA compliance and follow all organizational safety policies and procedures - Support care gap closure and provide whole-person care across each patient visit ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hour ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states, with a strong outpatient presence throughout Central Florida.
