Certified Medical Assistant Practice Based

AdventHealth is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Practice-Based) for an outpatient clinic in Ocala, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Administer medications, collect labs, and initiate ordered testing per provider direction - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions in clear, accurate terms - Monitor inventory and maintain functioning medical equipment and adequate supply levels - Support care gap closure and whole-person care delivery across the patient visit ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Working knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Proficiency with computers and electronic health record documentation ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $17.11–$27.38 (~$35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating outpatient clinics and hospitals across multiple states.
