Certified Medical Assistant

A Certified Medical Assistant opportunity at AdventHealth supports outpatient clinic operations at their Winter Park, Florida location on Aloma Ave. ### What you'll do - Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and document results in the designated practice system - Provide whole-patient care during office visits, including intake, screenings, labs, medication administration, and care gap closure - Maintain OSHA regulatory compliance and follow all safety processes and policies - Stay current on organizational policies, procedures, and annual clinical competencies - Travel as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support additional clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Working knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Ability to function effectively in fast-paced, high-stress clinical environments ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
