A Float Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist role at AdventHealth serves the Well 65+ outpatient clinic in Zephyrhills, Florida, supporting providers across multiple clinical areas on a Monday–Friday day schedule.
### What you'll do
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and document findings accurately in the medical record
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and assist providers with ordered treatments
- Transcribe provider orders for laboratory, radiology, and medication requests
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as part of routine patient care
- Provide patient education and explain risks, benefits, and follow-up instructions
- Maintain supply inventory and ensure a clean, compliant clinical environment
### What we're looking for
- Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience in a medical office setting (preferred)
- Ability to float across clinic locations and adapt to varied patient populations
