About this role
AdventHealth South Orlando is hiring a PRN Pediatric Surgical Technologist for its Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Scrub in on pediatric cardiothoracic cases, passing instruments and anticipating surgeon needs throughout each procedure.
- Keep the circulating nurse informed of supply and equipment needs in real time during cases.
- Support safe, efficient OR turnover between cases in an organized manner.
- Participate in Cardiothoracic Service Line Performance Improvement projects, completing at least one quality-improvement initiative annually.
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary departments.
### What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular operating room experience (required).
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technician in Surgery – Certified (NTSC) credential (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Department-specific advanced CVOR competencies (preferred).

- Pay range: $23.71 – $44.09/hour (approximately $49,316 – $91,707 annualized).
