Medical City Children's Hospital in Dallas, Texas is recruiting full-time and part-time Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians to staff a brand-new, purpose-built 40,000-square-foot Level II Trauma pediatric emergency department — one of the most comprehensively resourced pediatric ED environments in the Southwest. The department operates within Medical City Dallas, an 890-bed quaternary referral center drawing patients from across the United States and 75 foreign countries, and offers immediate on-site access to the full spectrum of pediatric subspecialty surgery and medicine. With 39,000 annual pediatric visits, 9-hour shifts, and a guaranteed hourly rate plus RVU incentives, this role is built for clinical excellence and sustainable work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics (ABP) required
  • Prior Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care experience accepted in lieu of fellowship training
  • Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine also qualifies
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Comfort managing the full acuity spectrum of a high-volume Level II Trauma pediatric ED
