About this role
AdventHealth is seeking a full-time RN Educator for its Advanced Cardiothoracic Operating Room at the Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Plan, teach, and evaluate educational programs for CVOR nursing staff.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation programs for new team members.
- Serve as a liaison to local schools of nursing and support student clinical experiences.
- Participate in organizational committees that design and implement professional development offerings.
- Apply evidence-based practice and research to advance staff knowledge and clinical competency.
- Contribute expertise to the creation of educational content across the cardiovascular surgical service line.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, cardiac ICU, or cardiovascular OR setting.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's of Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Prior management or educator experience preferred.
