About this role
A full-time night-shift Nursing Assistant (CNA) role with AdventHealth at the Shawnee Mission campus in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, supporting patient care across the float pool.
### What you'll do
- Assist licensed nurses in delivering direct patient care under their supervision and direction.
- Accurately obtain and document vital signs in the electronic medical record per department policy.
- Perform patient care duties and procedures in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Respond appropriately within scope during clinical emergencies and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Follow CDC isolation guidelines, apply PPE correctly, and maintain hand hygiene and safety standards.
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- CNA certification (preferred).
- Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) or EMT certification (preferred).
- 1+ years of PCT or applicable patient care experience (preferred).
