About this role

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Clinical Pharmacist at its Bolingbrook, Illinois hospital campus. ### What you'll do - Educate and counsel patients, families, and care team members on safe and effective medication use - Provide medication therapy management with attention to safety, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness; participate in stewardship and restricted-use programs - Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and direct patient care, supporting smooth transitions from admission through discharge and follow-up - Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy technicians, interns, students, and residents - Identify, document, and help resolve medication safety events, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors - Rotate across day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts (8-hour shifts); occasional midnight shift coverage required ### What we're looking for - Active Illinois Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license required - Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred - 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills - Ability to read and apply written clinical instructions and protocols - Additional licensure or certification may apply depending on assigned unit ### What's included - Pay range: $54.62–$101.60/hour (~$113,610–$211,328 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being programs - Pet benefits ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook is a full-service community hospital located in Bolingbrook, Illinois, operating within the AdventHealth system.
