AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Med-Surg Observation unit in Zephyrhills, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments evaluating physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and established standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Interpret EKG findings and apply advanced life support skills as required by patient population.
- Collaborate as an active team member within the unit to ensure coordinated, safe patient care.
- Apply high-level abstract reasoning to evaluate interventions and adjust care plans based on patient outcomes.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and team communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows-based programs and electronic health records.
