About this role

A part-time Registered Nurse role at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth's primary care clinic located at 15728 S Route 59 in Plainfield, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records. - Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, monitoring outcomes in accordance with nursing standards. - Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IV placement, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection. - Advocate for patient health, safety, and rights while providing education tailored to individual learning readiness and ability. - Support patient engagement through motivational interviewing, self-management protocols, and teach-back methodology. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois (required). - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred). - 1+ year of medical office experience (preferred). - Strong organizational, verbal communication, and customer relations skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.60–$50.56/hour (~$65,728–$105,165 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Career development and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth operates a network of outpatient primary care clinics across the Midwest, combining faith-based mission-driven care with the clinical resources of a major academic health system.
