About this role
AdventHealth Heart of Florida is hiring a PRN Clinical Pharmacist for night shift at its Davenport, Florida hospital.
### What you'll do
- Educate and counsel patients, families, and clinical staff on safe and effective medication use.
- Provide timely, cost-effective medication therapy and participate in stewardship, surveillance, and restricted-use programs.
- Engage in direct patient care and interdisciplinary rounds, supporting smooth transitions from admission through discharge.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy technicians, interns, students, and residents.
- Identify, report, and help resolve medication safety events, adverse drug reactions, and errors.
- Utilize EHRs, pharmacy informatics systems, and medication automation to optimize clinical decision support and documentation.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Pharmacist (RPH) license required.
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with pharmacy informatics systems and medication automation technology.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Additional licensure or certifications may apply depending on unit assignment.
### What's included
- Pay range: $48.71–$90.60/hr (approximately $101,316–$188,448 annualized at 2,080 hours).
- PRN/per-diem scheduling flexibility on night shift.
