### What you'll do
- Facilitate patient registration and scheduling for outpatient appointments across ancillary departments
- Communicate with registration and ancillary teams to ensure accurate appointment capture and throughput
- Process precertification for outpatient clinic visits and notify physician offices of potential non-covered services
- Enter patient appointment data and external review information for all pre-certified cases
- Evaluate, compile, and report scheduling information to support patient care coordination
- Maintain clerical records and files supporting scheduling functions; attend regular staff meetings
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Computer proficiency and working knowledge of standard office equipment (copier, fax, calculator)
- 1+ year of experience in a medical setting with coding, charge entry, and payment collection preferred
- Background in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Strong independent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workload efficiently
