About this role
An OB/GYN Clinic Nurse Practitioner role is available with AdventHealth at their outpatient clinic located in Arcadia, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, obtain detailed medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests to formulate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies, and perform therapeutic procedures within scope of practice.
- Manage a diverse patient panel including acute illnesses, chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension), preventive care, and women's health.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and facilitate specialist referrals.
- Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record in compliance with HIPAA and AdventHealth policies.
### What we're looking for
- Graduate of an accredited Master's or Doctorate Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active State of Florida ARNP licensure.
- ARNP certification through AANP or ANCC.
- Current BLS certification.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills with ability to convey complex medical information clearly.
