What You Will Do
This is an exceptional opportunity for an OBGYN physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network
How you’ll make an impact in this role:
- Join an established team of 8 other OBGYNs Physicians.
- Practice setting is Mixed (Inpatient/Outpatient).
- Provide 4 days (32 hrs) of Outpatient care per week.
- Manage 24 hr in-house call, with an average of 3 deliveries per 24 hours.
- The call structure is 1:10.
- Perform surgeries for approximately 4 hours per week, with 5-6 hospital-based cases a month.
- Utilize advanced technology, including the DaVinci Robot.
- Key procedures performed include Robotic surgery, myosure, cerene, and sonata.
- Community: The patient population is diverse. The location is right on the lake, offering proximity to Chicago and Milwaukee.
- Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians. Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.
- Participate in academic programs (e.g., medical education and research) as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
