About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its AH Well 65+ primary care practice in Orange City, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform patient intake including initial health screens, vitals, medication reconciliation, ECGs, and point-of-care testing - Identify care gaps, order necessary screening tests, and conduct pre-visit and intra-visit RAF reviews - Coordinate care across the continuum by scheduling appointments and referrals - Communicate with patients through digital channels and conduct post-visit follow-up calls - Manage daily practice operations including phone coverage, front desk support, and clinical space maintenance - Welcome new members, provide practice tours, and ensure all medical records are available for visits ### What we're looking for - Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Technical/Vocational School) - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - Knowledge of chronic disease management and care plan coordination - Ability to collaborate within a team-based care model under RN Case Manager and provider guidance - Computer proficiency; customer service or guest relations experience preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off effective Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth's AH Well 65+ program is a senior-focused primary care model designed to support members across the full continuum of care.
