A part-time Float Pool Registered Nurse (Days) role at AdventHealth Lenexa City Center in Lenexa, Kansas, serving ED, ICU, PCU, and Medical-Surgical units.
### What you'll do
- Float across ED, ICU/PCU, and Medical-Surgical units as assigned, providing consistent acute care across service lines.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in line with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Ability to float to ED, ICU/PCU, and MSU; EKG competency required per unit guidelines.
- Preferred certifications include TNCC, CCRN-E, CCNS, ONS, or SCRN depending on float area.
### What's included
- Pay range: $32.50–$60.45/hour ($67,600–$125,736 annualized).
- $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
