About this role

A Certified Medical Assistant at AdventHealth supports outpatient clinic operations at the Ocala Medical Office Building in Ocala, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications, initiate testing, and document results in the practice's designated system - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Proficiency with computers and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states, with a mission centered on whole-person care.
