A Medical Office Representative role at AdventHealth supports front-desk patient access operations across multiple outpatient clinic locations in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate department or clinical partner
- Welcome patients; collect, verify, and enter demographics, insurance, and billing information into practice management systems
- Register patients for services, facilitate timely discharge, and maximize reimbursement accuracy
- Request co-pays and outstanding balances at check-in and ensure financial eligibility memos are current and thorough
- Educate patients on test locations, patient portal navigation, and non-clinical follow-up steps
- Maintain open communication with clinical and ancillary teams to support smooth operational flow
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's degree or coursework in health services administration or a related field (preferred)
- 1+ year of customer service and medical office experience including medical terminology, coding, charge entry, and payment collection (preferred)
- Prior collections experience (preferred)
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) credential (preferred)
